The Educating Young Children (EYC) program is a great first learning opportunity for students ages 3-5 who are not yet in Kindergarten. The program supports the needs of the whole child both with disabilities that require special education and typically developing. Each classroom is led by a certified early childhood special education teacher, highly trained paraprofessionals with support from a Speech Language Pathologist/Assistant.

Children with disabilities that have an Individual Education Program (IEP) attend the program at no cost. For typical peers, the monthly tuition cost is $150.00 per month.

If you suspect your child may have a disability and require special education services, the district provides play-based screenings at no cost. A play-based screening allows up to four pre-school age students to participate in a structured and play-based environment to gather information about the child’s performance in the areas of cognition, communication, adaptive skills, fine motor and gross motor.
