Here you'll find the answers to many of your most common questions about our school.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
For the safety of our families, staff, and students, all students are to be dropped off and picked up via our back parking lot driveway. We have the area clearly marked and a map is also available in our campus handbook.
Parents line up in a single file line and stay to the right. Staff monitor the line and assist students with exiting and entering the vehicle. Please, do not exit your vehicle as it will cause a delay in our line and create a potential dangerous situation for all individuals.

How do I access my childs grades?
All parents have access to Synergy, our School Information System. This account allows parents to:
- Access and monitor grades
- Complete yearly enrollment verification to continue attending CTA
- Contact your child's teacher
- Review assignments
- Report absences prior to 6:30am
Each parent will need to create an account by using an access code. Please contact the office to obtain your personal access code.

What is the school day schedule?
Morning Arrival:
7:50am-Students may enter campus
8:10am-Recess ends and Flag Ceremony begins on the basketball court
Dismissal:
3:05pm - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday
1:00pm - Wednesday early release
Students are not to be left unattended on campus prior to 7:50 as there is no adult supervision provided.

Can I still enroll my child if he/she is not age 5 by August 31st?
Your child may be eligible to enroll as an early acceptance if his/her birthday is between September 1st - December 31st.
Each early entry must pass the early screening assessment.
To schedule your child for this screening, please contact our Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Department at the District Office, 480-987-5300 or the district website for dates and information regarding the upcoming screening sessions.

How do I become a volunteer on the campus?
We welcome parents on our campus to volunteer, getting involved in our PTO organization, events, and stopping by to have lunch with their children. Please click here to access the volunteer information. You can also call the front office for additional information.

Where do I find the school supply list?
Each grade level has different supply needs. Please refer to our CTA website for a list of each grade level supply needs. We will also have these available at our Meet the Teacher Night event prior to the start of the school year in July.

What is the procedures to register my child?
All forms and information can be accessed on the J.O. Combs District website by clicking here to complete the enrollment request.
Items needed for enrollment:
- Completed online registration
- Certified Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records
- Proof of Residency (i.e. lease agreement, electric bill, etc)
- Valid photo ID
- Withdraw form from the previous school
- For placement purposed, report card, 504 or IEP documents (if applicable)
