The district has Second Step Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum at its elementary schools and secondary campuses are using Schoolinks curriculum and implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Tiered supports for students showing mental health or social-emotional need along with risk assessment procedures are operational on all campuses.

 

J.O. Combs Unified School District is excited to introduce the community to the Southeast Valley Community Alliance (SVCA). SVCA is a coalition serving Queen Creek and San Tan Valley that aims to promote community wellness and build resilience by providing mental health and substance abuse resources to help youth and their families to make healthy choices.
