Access via Desktop

  1. Go to: https://www.jocombs.org/fs/chat
     
  2. Use your Combs email address and password to log in. (Parent login see FAQ section below)
     
  3. Once logged in, you’ll see your assigned classes as well as any teams, clubs, or other extracurricular groups you are associated with. These are automatically populated with the teacher, coach, advisor, students, and parents/guardians.
     
  4. Bookmark the site or pin it to your browser for easy access.

Access via Mobile App

  2. Use your Combs email address and password to log in. (Parent login see FAQ section below)                                                             
  3. Allow notifications — this will let you receive instant updates and alerts.
     
  4. Once logged in, you’ll see your assigned chat groups and messages.

FAQ

Helpful Tips

  • If you’re already logged into your school account on your computer, the app may log you in automatically
     
  • You can switch between desktop and mobile — all messages stay synced
     
  • Messages sent to a Chat Room are delivered to all members of that room (students, parents, and staff included)
     
  • Students do not create a new account or use a personal email; only district credentials are permitted. 
     
  • For parents, use the same email address you use for ParentVue
     
  • For privacy, safety, and record keeping, all chat/text communication should remain within the district chat app (no external apps or personal texting)
